You do not always have to grab a snickers, sometimes you can power up and stave off a craving with a few simple snacks.

Here are a few simple choices

  • Fresh fruit – apple, orange, pear
  • Bowl of berries (frozen will work too)
  • Dried Fruits like 5 apricots, 3 dates, 1/4 cup of dried cherries or 4 prunes
  • 1/4 of mixed nuts and seeds
  • 2 cups of air popped corn.  You can add nutritional yeast to flavour, or any seasoning you like
  • Veggies & dip – hummus make a great dip.

What ever you choose, keep it simple and remember to stay hydrated.
